The Universe Clearly Has Its Priorities
Seriously? A dream? A DREAM led to a woman playing the lottery and winning thirteen thousand dollars? Lets just pause for a moment and collectively question all of our life choices, shall we? I mean, I’ve had dreams about overdue library books and that one awkward thing I said at a party ten years ago. Those are my dream revelations. Apparently, someone else is receiving divine lottery guidance from the subconscious mind of their deceased mother. Fantastic for her, truly.
It just screams of everything wrong with our modern obsession with finding “signs” everywhere. Did she stop to consider maybe it was a random, fleeting memory? A coincidence? Nope! Must be Mom from beyond, whispering sweet nothings about Quick Pick numbers. I bet she’s telling everyone its fate now.
And the lottery itself? Don’t even get me started on that behemoth of false hope and exploited desperation. It preys on people’s anxieties, their dreams of a better life, and then delivers… thirteen thousand dollars to someone who apparently gets financial advice from spectral maternal figures. Im going back to meticulously organizing my sock drawer. At least that makes logical sense.
