Lets just pause for a moment, shall we? In a world grappling with climate change, political upheaval, and the rising cost of avocados, what are our brave firefighters in Fresno County doing? Rescuing a puppy. From a tire rim. Yes, you read that correctly. A tiny, presumably adorable creature somehow managed to wedge its head through the hole designed for air to flow. I mean, really? Is this what we’re celebrating now?
Apparently, its headline-worthy. Firefighters to the Rescue! they proclaim. As if their expertise in battling wildfires and structural collapses is best utilized disentangling a canine from automotive debris. I bet those hoses were practically gleaming with unused potential. All that specialized training! Wasted on… a puppy.
I’m not saying its not cute, I suppose. Puppies are inherently manipulative in their cuteness. It’s clearly part of the plan. But honestly, shouldnt the puppy’s owner be held accountable for this ridiculous display of negligence? Did no one think to, you know, supervise a dog?
