Honestly, are we really celebrating this? A deer got itself stuck in a fence. Congratulations, nature! You managed to achieve something a toddler could accomplish with minimal effort and even less grace. And now we’re showering praise upon a child for noticing said deer was in distress? Please.
Its adorable, isn’t it? The heartwarming story of the little hero who bravely pointed out the obvious. As if adults are all wandering around blindfolded, oblivious to the wildlife suffering just beyond their doorstep. I suppose we can’t expect much from a generation obsessed with avocado toast and participation trophies, but seriously! A deer in a fence! Its not exactly saving orphans from a burning building.
The real story here isnt about the child; its about the astonishing lack of spatial awareness exhibited by this particular muntjac. Did it attend deer fencing 101? Was there no maternal guidance on navigating suburban barriers? The rescuers are busy patting themselves on the back for a swift response, but I’m left wondering if we need to institute mandatory wildlife orientation courses for all woodland creatures.
And lets be honest, this is just another opportunity to feel virtuous. Look at us! We saved a deer! We’re good people! Its performative altruism at its finest. Give me strength.
