People often say that dogs are man’s best friend, and that they’re adorable, loyal companions who bring joy to our lives. But let’s be real – they’re also idiots who do some of the dumbest things imaginable. Case in point: the recent story of a dog dubbed “Cheeto” after being rescued from a plastic cheese ball container.
Yes, you read that right. Cheeto the dog, who we can only assume has a brain the size of a walnut, managed to get his fat head stuck inside a container of cheese balls. And not just any container, mind you – a plastic one with a tiny opening that he clearly didn’t fit through.
Now, we don’t want to rag on poor Cheeto too much. After all, he’s just a dog, and dogs aren’t known for their problem-solving skills. But come on – how did he not realize that trying to stick his head into a small, enclosed space was a bad idea? Did he think he was a contortionist or something?
Thankfully, some kind humans found Cheeto and managed to free him from the container. But not before taking some hilarious photos of him looking like a complete doofus. Seriously, if you haven’t seen the pictures yet, do yourself a favor and look them up. The expression on Cheeto’s face says it all – “Yep, I’m an idiot. What of it?”
So now that Cheeto is free from cheese ball captivity, what’s next for this intrepid canine? Will he finally learn his lesson and stop trying to stick his head into things that don’t fit? Or will he continue to be a walking embodiment of canine stupidity?
We can only hope that Cheeto’s owner takes some measures to prevent future mishaps. Maybe invest in some child locks for the kitchen cabinets, or teach Cheeto the intricacies of object permanence. Or heck, just keep him away from all food-related items entirely. After all, if he couldn’t resist the allure of cheese balls, who knows what other snack foods he’s eyeing up?
In all seriousness, we’re glad that Cheeto is safe and sound after his little mishap. And we hope that he serves as a cautionary tale for other dogs out there who might be a little too curious for their own good. Remember, pups – if it doesn’t fit, don’t stick your head in it.
