You know whats Not on Roids, apparently? Genuine human creativity. Seriously! People are out here launching full-blown tirades at… everything now, convinced it’s AI-generated garbage, even when it demonstrably isn’t. Its a digital witch hunt fueled by fearmongering and the general anxiety that robots will steal our jobs (or, you know, just replace us entirely).

The sheer panic over generative AI has created this bizarre phenomenon: people want to believe something is awful AI output, so they do. A recent study in Nature (Understanding How Personality Traits…Shape Negative Bias Toward AI-Generated Artworks) proved it! Researchers tricked participants into thinking human-made artwork was generated by AI, and guess what? They still ripped it to shreds! Disparaging remarks galore, even though a real person sweated over those pixels.

Its not about the quality of the content anymore; it’s about assigning blame to the shiny new scapegoat: Artificial Intelligence. We were all promised flying cars and robot butlers, instead we got existential dread about AI enslavement, which, thankfully, has dialed back a bit from last year’s doomsday predictions, but the resentment lingers!

Apparently, this shared anger is now a unifier, bridging age gaps and demographics in a rare moment of collective outrage. Were all united by our fear of being outshone by algorithms – even when those algorithms haven’t actually done anything wrong. Its ridiculous, frankly, but perfectly predictable given the current climate. Now excuse me while I go yell at a cloud… which is probably AI-generated anyway.
