You know what’s Not on Roids, but apparently is on a solid foundation of universal annoyance? TV characters. Apparently, we all secretly harbor deep-seated resentment for fictional people! A recent viewer poll – and yes, Im judging you for participating – has ranked the most hated television personalities, and honestly, the results are… predictable, yet still somehow upsetting.
Topping the list is Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones. Seriously? Who didn’t despise him? The article correctly points out his relentless cruelty and childishness, culminating in that whole crossbow incident with Myrcella. He was a bratty king whose sole purpose seemed to be generating viewer outrage! Its almost too easy to understand why he snagged the number one spot.
Then we have Regina George from Mean Girls. Okay, yes, she’s a textbook example of high school tyranny, but is she that universally loathed? The article claims she secured the second place. I guess relentlessly manipulating people and weaponizing social status is a pretty solid recipe for animosity.
Rounding out the top three (because apparently we all need to collectively simmer with anger), is Glenn Closes Alex Forrest from Fatal Attraction. Apparently, her obsessive stalking and generally unhinged behavior resonates negatively. Honestly, can we just agree that characters who try to sabotage marriages are bad news?
It’s a depressing list, isn’t it? Proof that we spend our evenings actively hating people who arent even real! Now if youll excuse me, I need to go find something positive to watch… or at least someone less awful.
